Anonymous newcomer AZRUM emerges once again from the shadows with the release of his latest project, The Collector Of Souls, a narrative-driven EP out now via HypnoVizion.
The four-track collection unfolds like a dark fable, weaving cinematic storytelling with immersive sound design. At its core lies the tale of a dying prince and a powerless wizard, a narrative steeped in myth, hallucination, and the fragile grip of power. From the opening chapter “The King” to the titular finale “The Collector Of Souls”, the EP ascends through layers of majesty and melancholy, reflecting the grandeur and inevitable collapse of a final reign.
In AZRUM’s own words:
“Once, in a vast and powerful kingdom, there lived a King who cherished one treasure above all others — his only son, the Prince. The Wizard had healed many before, and his magic was known to rival the greatest in the land. The illness struck without warning, and though the Wizard did everything he could, the Prince continued to slip away.”
