Zimmer90, the rising indie-electro pop duo from Germany, return with two captivating new singles—“Feel Myself” and “Wait For You”—offering the final sonic snapshots before the release of their debut album, Interior, out September 19.
Comprising close friends Joscha Becker and Finn Gronemeyer, Zimmer90 has become one of the most promising acts in the modern indie-dance scene. Their latest tracks stay true to the soulful, dreamy, disco-laced style they’ve been crafting through recent singles like “Follow (I Will Never Let You Go)”, “Learn To Let You Go” featuring Balu Brigada, and the Daft Punk-inspired “Yours & Mine.”
Both new songs were written in the tranquility of rural France, where the pair found space to reflect, breathe, and explore the emotional textures that would define the album. “Feel Myself” is a gentle introspective journey, layered with drifting piano melodies, ethereal synths, and a haze of reverb that evokes solitude and emotional vulnerability. In contrast, “Wait For You” pulses with a Balearic warmth, driven by breezy percussion and a soft electronic groove that elevates Joscha’s floating vocals into something beautifully escapist.
To accompany “Feel Myself,” Zimmer90 released a moving visual that mirrors the track’s quiet emotional power. The video captures soft-focus imagery—portraits of the duo intertwined with serene landscapes—allowing listeners to step deeper into the reflective world of Interior. Directed with a minimalist and poetic eye, the visual extends the song’s meditative mood, turning the music into an immersive experience.
Zimmer90 (“Room90”) began in Stuttgart in 2020 and quickly rose to attention with their viral hit “What Love Is”—a track that exploded on TikTok, appearing in more than 128 million posts and inspiring over 251,000 user-generated videos. That momentum carried over to their socials, where they’ve cultivated an audience of over 350,000 followers on TikTok and continue to connect through behind-the-scenes content, studio clips, and heartfelt reflections on Instagram.
Their debut album, Interior, has been a deeply personal journey. Developed over several years, it reflects a tension between chaos and calm, spontaneity and control—between Joscha’s creative fire and Finn’s steady presence. The album’s cover art even features original paintings by Joscha’s grandfather, transforming the project into a kind of emotional gallery. “This album is like an exhibition,” says Finn. “Each painting tells part of our story, just like each song.”
As Zimmer90 prepares to release Interior, they’re also heading out for a limited run of special album release shows in Stuttgart, Berlin, Brooklyn, Mexico City, and Los Angeles—bringing the world of Interior from headphones to the stage.
“Feel Myself” and “Wait For You” are out now on all platforms. The full album, Interior, arrives September 19.
