Following viral flips of Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter, rising producer Phrva is stepping into the spotlight with his official Deadbeats debut. Out July 25, “Collected” is a high-impact collaboration featuring UK grime standout Rakjay and underground bass innovator Don Jamal, signaling a bold new chapter in Phrva’s rapidly ascending career.
“‘Collected’ has been a staple in our sets for the past year,” said Phrva. “We originally had the iconic PFTD vocals on top of this song, but knew it deserved a hook of its own, and Rakjay came through with exactly what we needed. Very cool, very calm, very collected.”
Don Jamal adds, “One of my favorite tunes that I’ve been playing out at every show. Stoked to finally have this come out—Phrva and Rakjay killed it.”
Built on booming low-end, warped textures, and a cavernous sound design, “Collected” fuses the energy of UK grime with festival-ready bass power. Rakjay’s gritty vocal delivery cuts through with precision, giving the track a distinctive edge that sets it apart in today’s bass scene. The collaboration channels the raw, unfiltered pulse of underground culture while scaling the intensity to massive festival stages.
The release lands ahead of Phrva’s debut performance at Shambhala Music Festival, following key appearances at Lightning in a Bottle and direct support for acts like Tape B and Flowdan. With “Collected,” Phrva plants a flag in the bass music landscape—confident, sharp, and fully in command.
