London’s rising R&B sensation FLO has returned with a sizzling summer collaboration, releasing their new single “The Mood” today in partnership with GRAMMY-winning producer Kaytranada. The track is a confident, genre-blending anthem that flips the narrative on desire and consent, gliding over Kaytranada’s unmistakably slick, bass-driven production.
Built around luscious harmonies and smooth rhythms, “The Mood” is a playful yet empowered statement about sexual agency. “‘The Mood’ is a fun and fresh take on sex. The track marks another milestone in a banner year for FLO, who released their debut album Access All Areas in November 2024. As they continue their meteoric rise, FLO will kick off the UK leg of their Access All Areas Tour this fall, starting September 28, 2025, at London’s O2 Brixton Academy, with stops in Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham before heading into Europe. These dates follow their record-breaking 27-date North American tour, the biggest US headline run by a British girl group in nearly twenty years.
