Madrid-based DJ/producer duo Sparrow & Barbossa have officially docked at CircoLoco Records, unveiling their highly anticipated You Go EP—out now and pulsing with the global rhythms that define their genre-defying sound.
The two-track release is a rich exploration of the pair’s signature fusion of live instrumentation and club-ready electronic textures. Leading with the deep, emotionally resonant title track “You Go” featuring Sebastian Rivero, the EP layers warm chords and muffled, soulful vocals beneath shimmering, glassy synths. The result is hypnotic, heartfelt, and unmistakably afro house. Bryan Coletta (Switzerland) and Emiliano Haberli (Uruguay) have steadily forged a global presence with their Sparrow & Barbossa project, blending Bryan’s melodic instincts—honed as the son of jazz guitarist Francis Coletta—with Emiliano’s percussive foundation as a classically trained musician and former Space Ibiza resident.
Their unique blend of afro house, tribal rhythms, and progressive textures has earned them several Beatport #1s, as well as collaborations with luminaries like Sia, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, Rampa (on the fan-favorite “Champion”), and PJ Sin Suela.
