In a monumental convergence of dance music minds, Spencer Brown joins forces with John Digweed and Nick Muir—the revered architects behind Bedrock Records—for a groundbreaking collaboration titled “Relentless.” Out June 20 via Bedrock, the single arrives in both digital and limited-edition vinyl formats, delivering a profound fusion of generations, continents, and club cultures.
More than just a collaboration, “Relentless” is the result of 18 months of meticulous sonic exploration among three artists united by a shared vision and mutual respect. At the heart of the release lies a personal story—one that sees Brown, long a disciple of Digweed’s legendary sound, come full circle to create with his greatest influence.
“John is my favorite DJ of all time,” says Spencer Brown. “His sets at Stereo have consistently blown me away. Making a record with him and Nick Muir is nothing short of surreal.”
The release unfolds across two dynamic versions. Side A features the 9-minute Original Mix, a masterclass in progressive build-ups, hypnotic grooves, and crystalline detail—crafted for peak-time club transcendence. Side B reveals a Beatless Mix, stripping back the rhythm to highlight the track’s emotional core in a beautifully ambient format. Both versions are equally compelling whether soundtracking a sunrise dancefloor or a private headphone journey.
The seeds of “Relentless” were planted in 2021 when Digweed played Spencer’s debut track on his diviine label, “18 Min Loop,” at a party in Argentina. A backstage introduction evolved into an hour-long phone call, followed by a growing friendship that would ultimately lead to their first studio collaboration with Nick Muir, Digweed’s longtime creative partner.
For Spencer Brown, “Relentless” marks one of the most meaningful moments in a career already packed with milestones. Discovered by Avicii in 2014, Brown opened for the late icon at the Hollywood Bowl and has since released a trilogy of acclaimed albums, collaborated with artists like Ben Böhmer, Qrion, and Above & Beyond, and played revered venues and festivals including Tomorrowland, Stereo, EDC, and more.
