HypnoVizion heavyweights EDDIE and X1-Y2 have collided on a ferocious new single titled “Ken”, out now across all platforms. Designed as a no-holds-barred weapon for the underground, “Ken” is a razor-sharp blend of pulverizing distortion, cinematic breakdowns, and forward-thinking bass design—serving as yet another milestone for Rezz’s boundary-defying imprint.

Clocking in as one of the most visceral HypnoVizion releases to date, “Ken” merges EDDIE’s signature mechanical edge with the volatile, hyper-textural world of X1-Y2. From the first seismic drop to its atmospheric interludes, the track strikes a perfect balance between calculated chaos and artistic clarity. At its core, “Ken” is an electrified assault on the senses—precisely engineered for late-night sets and the most unhinged corners of the dance floor.

“Our goal for this song was to create an absolute dancefloor MENACE! Blending his world of distortion and my sound design, we ended up with this injection of ENERGY!” — EDDIE

“Working with EDDIE on this track was amazing, especially being an admirer of his work for a long time. We experimented a lot around the track and went in for a distortion-heavy, experimental side of a ‘pure sound’ wall for the main theme, paired with a more cinematic approach outside the drops to create contrast throughout the whole track.” — X1-Y2

Born in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, EDDIE has carved out a reputation for pushing electronic music into new dimensions. With releases on powerhouse labels like mau5trap, Deadbeats, Monstercat, and Bassrush, EDDIE’s catalog includes standout collaborations with Rezz, Zeds Dead, Zomboy, and Black Tiger Sex Machine. His debut with HypnoVizion came in the form of the 2023 Onzeker Kraft Vol. 1’ EP, followed by an appearance on Rezz’s CAN YOU SEE ME? album and the sequel Vol. 1.5 EP.

Meanwhile, X1-Y2 remains one of the most compelling mysteries in the bass world. First introduced by Rezz in 2023 through their collaborative rework of “Edge,” X1-Y2 quickly followed up with the avant-garde NOVUS EP. Known for his glitch-infused, genre-bending sound design, X1-Y2 continued his rise this year with his solo Caustics EP and collaborations like ‘STATIC’ with FISE.

With “Ken”, these two cutting-edge producers deliver a release that doesn’t just break rules—it builds new ones.

Stream “Ken” by EDDIE and X1-Y2 now on all major platforms via HypnoVizion.
