After months of teasing with a trail of vibrant singles, Australian producer/DJ 1tbsp has officially dropped his full Hotel Living EP—a dazzling and boundary-pushing body of work that solidifies his reputation as one of electronic music’s most inventive new voices.

Building on the buzz of earlier releases like Wet Peak Stars (feat. Meth Math)Rush (Missing Out On Me) (feat. cherry chola & Purient), and Isso (feat. MC Pânico), 1tbsp delivers three brand new tracks that complete the story with Dolly Destructiva (feat. cherry chola), It Hurts So Bad (feat. DJ ADHD), and Rosas Y Besitos (feat. cherry chola).

True to its name, Hotel Living explores the fleeting, layered energy of urban life condensed into intimate spaces. With bursts of colorful Latin-American influence, warped French house, and dancefloor-ready percussion, the project is a kaleidoscope of sound—personal, global, and irresistibly kinetic.

Hotel Living feels like a zeroed-in extension to my previous release Megacity1000,” shares 1tbsp. “I wanted something that had the variety and busyness of a city, but that could exist within a room—and hotel living came to mind. Unexpectedly, all the songs are very upbeat. They feel like this mix between sensitivity and rushing.”

The EP shines with the recurring presence of cherry chola, who lends her infectious flair to three tracks. Collaborators DJ ADHD, Meth Math, MC Pânico, and Purient each contribute their own textures, further expanding 1tbsp’s eclectic universe.

A longtime admirer of French house, 1tbsp notes that his teen-era influences found their way back into his work this time around. The result is a sophisticated blend of underground textures and pop-forward grooves, grounded by a creative process of daily sketches and relentless experimentation.

Fans eager to experience 1tbsp live won’t have to wait long. He’s hitting the road across North America, the UK, and Spain this summer. Tonight, he supports Disclosure in Salt Lake City at the Ogden Amphitheatre, and tomorrow, he’s in New York City for the debut of Sumoclic Nights at 99 Scott, sharing the stage with Beaks, Girl_irl, and Meth Math.

With Hotel Living, 1tbsp delivers a project that’s not just club-ready—it’s deeply personal, globally aware, and emotionally resonant. This is more than an EP—it’s a passport into 1tbsp’s constantly evolving world.
