Building on the buzz of earlier releases like Wet Peak Stars (feat. Meth Math), Rush (Missing Out On Me) (feat. cherry chola & Purient), and Isso (feat. MC Pânico), 1tbsp delivers three brand new tracks that complete the story with Dolly Destructiva (feat. cherry chola), It Hurts So Bad (feat. DJ ADHD), and Rosas Y Besitos (feat. cherry chola).
True to its name, Hotel Living explores the fleeting, layered energy of urban life condensed into intimate spaces. “Hotel Living feels like a zeroed-in extension to my previous release Megacity1000,” shares 1tbsp. “I wanted something that had the variety and busyness of a city, but that could exist within a room—and hotel living came to mind. Unexpectedly, all the songs are very upbeat. They feel like this mix between sensitivity and rushing.”
The EP shines with the recurring presence of cherry chola, who lends her infectious flair to three tracks. Collaborators DJ ADHD, Meth Math, MC Pânico, and Purient each contribute their own textures, further expanding 1tbsp’s eclectic universe.
