Brazilian house innovator Antdot and Zimbabwe-born singer, producer, and Grammy-nominated songwriter Bantu join forces for “Too Late,” a stirring new single that bridges Afro House with cross-continental emotion and dancefloor power. Out now on Insomniac Records, the track fuses the two artists’ distinct cultural and musical roots into a global sonic experience that’s as introspective as it is rhythmically captivating.

A poignant meditation on heartbreak, “Too Late” explores themes of love, loss, and redemption through a blend of solemn vocals, tribal chants, and melancholic piano melodies, all driven by crisp Afro-inspired percussion and textured synth layers. The result is a spiritual yet club-ready offering that reflects both Bantu’s Zimbabwean musical lineage and Antdot’s Brazilian heritage.

Working on this track with Antdot was powerful,” shares Bantu. “It’s a global anthem about love, heartbreak, and redemption, blending Zimbabwean and Brazilian house into one rhythmic, emotional dancefloor journey.

Antdot recalls his instant connection to the vocals: “Bantu sent me a few vocal ideas, and as soon as I heard the ‘Too Late’ one, I just knew it was something we had to work on together. The connection between us flowed really naturally, and I think we were both able to bring a lot of our essence into this track!

Their collaboration began on Instagram, blossoming into a transcontinental creative exchange. “I’ve been a big fan of Antdot’s work, and he had been watching me from Brazil,” explains Bantu. “We were both excited to create something special, and that’s exactly what happened.

The track also marks another standout addition to Antdot’s growing international profile. As cofounder of the influential Dawn Patrol label with Maz, he’s been a key figure in exporting Brazilian house music globally, earning millions of streams and support from heavyweights like Vintage Culture, CamelPhat, Keinemusik, and Stephan Jolk. His performances have graced iconic stages such as Hi Ibiza, Warung Beach Club, and Cercle.

Bantu, whose genre-blending style pulls from afro house, amapiano, dancehall, and afro fusion, continues to showcase his versatility with “Too Late.” His previous Insomniac singles include “Can’t Let You Go” with BLOND:ISH and “Closer” with Wakyin, with past press coverage from Mixmag, Hits Daily Double, Fresh Music Freaks, and more. He’s also currently performing at Cape to Cairo Coffee pop-ups in Los Angeles and New York City.

“Too Late” is more than a song—it’s a cultural convergence, a dancefloor confession, and a testament to the emotional depth Afro House continues to unlock.
