Debuted during his set at Ultra Music Festival, “United In Trance” has already received major support from global tastemakers including Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Eli Brown, and KSHMR. True to its name, the track bridges the gap between HI-LO’s darker techno roots and the uplifting spirit of his Oliver Heldens persona, embodying a unifying sound that blurs genre lines and energizes dancefloors with its cinematic build-ups and relentless pulse.
“When I started this track during ADE week in 2023, I just wanted to make a full-on trance anthem for my Oliver Heldens alias,” says HI-LO. “But as I was developing the idea, it became more of a HI-LO techno trance banger. Trance music has served as a bridge between the two projects over the last few years—it’s something that unites them, especially in my versatile, higher-energy Oliver Heldens sets. That’s why I called this track ‘United In Trance.’ The reactions have been amazing in both of my sets in completely different contexts, so I’m very excited for this one to be finally released!”
