Continuing his decade-long evolution in electronic music, Max Styler returns to Insomniac Records with his latest single, “I Know You Want To”, out March 14. A master at fusing techno and house into seamless club cuts, Styler delivers another high-energy, dancefloor-ready track built around hypnotic vocal loops, deep basslines, and a dark, pulsating groove.
Created just before his set at Seismic Dance Event last November, Styler explains, “Before big sets, I usually lock myself in the studio and create a few new records to debut. I had been gravitating toward simpler drum patterns and bass lines, and I knew I wanted to put my twist on that sound. The dramatic expletive in the song highlights the frustration you feel when you realize you’re faced with no other option but to lock in and find a way to achieve whatever has been lingering in your mind or needs to get done.”
This release follows his massive hit “See You Sweat” with GENESI, which has already surpassed 2.5 million streams and earned support from industry heavyweights like Pete Tong, Adriatique, Peggy Gou, Hidden Empire, and Rafael Cerato. Styler’s momentum continues after being ranked #16 on 1001Tracklists’ Top 101 Producers list in 2024, boasting six #1 Beatport hits and securing a coveted Hot Mix for BBC Radio 1 in December 2024.
