London-born and Brooklyn-based electronic music rising star Kamino has unleashed his latest single, Take The Pill, featuring the sultry vocals of Stalking Gia, out now via Casablanca Records.
Take The Pill is a dancefloor-ready anthem that bursts to life with old-school techno synths, a pulsating bassline, and Stalking Gia’s hypnotic vocals. The track builds to an irresistible chorus as she croons, “Be chill, just take the pill,” before delivering a euphoric drop that amplifies the energy to electrifying levels.
Speaking about the creation of the track, Kamino shared, “Gia and I had been working together over countless sessions to create something special. This one came about by chance when she showed me a slower pop record called ‘Take The Pill.’ I sped it up 40bpm and wrote the entire track in a matter of hours. Often, the best things come about unexpectedly!”
Take The Pill follows the success of Kamino’s recent collaboration Falling with Cristoph and MRYN, which has amassed hundreds of thousands of streams. Praised by EDMTunes for its unique fusion of styles, the track cemented Kamino’s reputation as a versatile and innovative producer.
Fans got their first taste of Take The Pill during Kamino’s recent North American tour, where its infectious energy quickly became a crowd favorite.
Next, Kamino will join KREAM and AYYBO on a US tour with stops in San Francisco (November 29), Salt Lake City (November 30), Denver (December 20), and Seattle (December 21). He recently shared the stage with Fisher at Boston’s Roadrunner and closed 2023 with headline performances at Brooklyn’s Silo and sets alongside Eli & Fur.
