Following the success of their “If You Want My Lovin’” EP in June—which featured fan-favorite track “Motions” (racking up 1.5 million streams on Spotify)—“This Rhythm” is poised to be another crowd-pleaser. “We wanted to create something simple, vocal-heavy, and irresistibly groovy,” say Prospa. “RAHH brought a special energy that connected instantly, capturing how rhythm and dance bring us together.”
Prospa revealed that the track came to life in an unexpected place—Phuket, Thailand, where they completed it while performing at CircoLoco Thailand. “The tropical sun, the vibe—it felt natural to wrap up the song in a day,” they said. “This rhythm is our heartbeat. Enjoy!”
The Leeds-based pair, Harvey Blumler and Gosha Smith, have been shaking up the electronic music scene since their breakout hit “Prayer” in 2018, which gained over 16 million streams and helped revive the iconic Stress Records label. Inspired by legends like Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers, Prospa has since become a staple on major festival stages, from Glastonbury and Coachella to Ibiza’s DC-10 and Denver’s Red Rocks.
