Following his latest release ‘Runaway’, Montreal’s own CRi has released a new single, ‘Runaway’, and announces his debut album titled, ‘Juvenile’, will be out on October 16th via Anjunadeep. CRi never disappoints when he releases a track, delivering infectious melodic tunes left and right.
‘Runaway’ is the product of two ideas colliding into something perfect and effortless. After months of fiddling with the track, vocalist Sophia Bel came into the studio and laid down a beautiful melody. Just like that, the track was complete. CRi’s latest single gives listeners a taste as to what to expect from the well-awaited debut album.
CRi is inspired by musical geniuses such as Moby, St Germain, and Daniel Bélanger, who appear on the album. With his inspirations, he still delivers his own dreamy unique sound to the listener’s ear. In 2018, CRi was nominated for Electronic Release of The Year at the Juno Awards, Canada’s version of The Grammys. CRi’s debut album marks a milestone for UK label Anjunadeep and a milestone in CRi’s breakthrough career.
