It takes a special person to invent and produce a product, get sponsored on Shark Tank, and save the lives of the frontline workers during a pandemic, but Shower Toga founder Kressa Peterson is anything but normal. I’ll never forget the first time I saw the Shower Toga in person. Ironically enough, it was my very first camping festival, Imagine in Atlanta. One of my favorite things to do in the campgrounds is to wander around, and I am a sucker for the merch area. Shower Toga was showcased among other brands, and I remember being amazed at its unique versatility.
The entire world is coming together while we shelter in place, and find purpose in our daily lives while adjusting to a new normal. I’m fascinated by strong women who give back to their community. Having a strong voice and an optimistic mindset are inspiring. Luckily, I had the opportunity to speak to Kressa about her journey from creation to helping nurses and other front-line responders all over the country keep their families safe during the threat we all face due to COVID-19.
