Electro pioneers Kraftwerk are coming back for a rare tour run, and this isn’t just your Average Joe tour, celebrating 50 years within the Electronic Dance Music scene it will be the experience of a lifetime. Kraftwerk are true influencers of the rave scene, returning with a special 3D tour that won’t be like anything you’ve seen before.
With the Kraftwerk project starting back in 1970, this multimedia project has evolved throughout the years and grown. This audiovisual experience project can be compared to such exhibits you may see in museums such as the infamous contemporary art Museum Of Modern Art. Right here in NYC, you can expect a unique and immersive experience that will be like any other live act in live entertainment today.
We’re already preparing ourselves to hear classics such as “The Robots” and “Tour De France” during this upcoming tour, with limited scheduled tour dates throughout the last few years. It’s safe to say that this may be one of the last few chances you get to see Kraftwerk, taking over famous venues such as Radio City Music Hall and Aragon Ballroom. These venues will provide the perfect space to experience Kraftwerk in proper fashion.
Taking over Ushuaïa last summer during Sven Vath‘s imprint show Cocoon, while Kraftwerk’s performance was almost canceled due to the intense rain. Luckily, they were able to play that day and social media exploded with a massive amount of positive reviews, many saying that Kraftwerk played a set for the ages. We’re expecting them to bring that same energy on tour and deliver a night we won’t soon forget.
