Claude VonStroke aka Papa Claude has captivated our ears and hearts for 15 years with his infamous House and Tech-House label Dirtybird Records. What started out as a small community that built the belief in Dirtybird, VonStroke has soared to new heights in almost two decades. This fan-favorite record label has scooped up an IDMA for ‘Underground Label Of The Year’ twice and annually hosts the Dirtybird Campout Festival along with various events throughout the US. With its memorable expansion into the music realm with full-fledged events, a clothing brand, and a flagship music label, we are stoked to celebrate this massive milestone with all the dirtybirds across the world.
VonStroke has released three original artist albums, a remix album, and a live album most recently recorded when he closed Movement Festival in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. We excitedly have a fourth original album release on the table with Amsterdam, New York, and London-based record label Armada Music. Armada was founded in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis with over 40,000 titles and named the world’s largest dance music catalog. This special project and newest record release with Claude VonStroke and his Dirtybird label features a total of 11 tracks and is dubbed ‘Freaks And Beaks’.
As if getting a new Claude VonStroke album for the new year wasn’t enough, it’s coupled with a triple gatefold vinyl pack, a six-part documentary series and over a dozen album tour dates in London, Berlin, South America, Asia and more of the world’s most popular Electronic Dance Music hotspots.
