by The Freaks - Staff

Still reaping the rewards of his successful debut album “DEMIGOD “ released earlier this year, Kai Wachi embarked on his first headline tour with Sam Lamar. Playing to a sold-out crowd on December 28, 2019 in Arizona, Wachi provided a “must-see” performance full of energy and excitement along with the passion-filled Bass music he has become know for. No stranger to pleasing the crowd, Wachi’s performance was a commanding ride through the genre meant to dazzle, uplift and blow you away.

DJ and music producer Sam Lamar was a real fire starter. He came out guns blazing and ready to play hardball as he delivered some of the hardest Bass sound out there. Continuing to rock the crowd with an unapologetic performance, Lamar provided a show that broke down Dubstep to its core. Throwing down some Reggae rhythms, and delving into the abyss that keeps Bass its home, Lamar hosted track after track of throbbing hits keeping the crowd jumping and humming to the beats.

Kai Wachi took the stage and the Demigod was unleashed. We bowed down as Wachi demonstrated his mastery of Trap and beats. The ultimate banger generator, his limitless energy and creativity were satisfying and never boring. Progressively experimental, hardcore and fun, Wachi moved to the beat as much as the crowd did. His arms moved through the air like a highly skilled dancer or performer. Dynamic in his compositions as well as his performances, Kai directed his audience towards a new appreciation of Riddim. Wachi and Lamar closed out the show with a back to back performance that was the ideal ending to a showcase of music perfection.
