With 2019 quickly coming to an end most of us ravers are looking straight past Christmas and counting down the days till New Year’s Eve! Here in Arizona, Relentless Beats is gearing up to ring in 2020 in a BIG way!!! They have a stellar Decadence AZ lineup ready for us, check it out below if you haven’t had a chance yet. Since we don’t have a whole lot of time left to prepare, here’s a quick playlist round-up of ten songs we will be keeping our ears out for this New Year! Check them out below and make sure to grab your tickets before they’re all gone.
Day One: December 30th (In Alphabetical Order)
1. Artist: Adam Beyer Track: “Your Mind”
Why?: Beyer brings in true techno sounds with this track. If you’re looking to dawn all black and enjoy a delicious techno set, look no further. You’ll be losing your mind when he busts this one out!
2. Artist: ILLENIUM Track: “Take You Down”
Why?: Off his 2019 full-length album ASCEND, this is the perfect song to hold someone close and really get into the feels. He will be treating us to a live set so I can only imagine how much more powerful this track is going to be at Decadence!
3. Artist: Nora en Pure Track: “Fibonacci”
Why?: I have been all about this track since she dropped it in November of this year. This is a relaxing track that really builds as it progresses and I can see this being a perfect addition to an energetic set. Seeing as this is a very recent release, I’m sure she will be mixing this into her New Years’ set so make sure you swing by during her hour!
4. Artist: Skrillex Track: “Bangarang”
Why?: Ya gotta keep it CLASSIC! Skrillex joined the Arizona crowd in 2018 and literally overflowed the mainstage!! I’m hoping to get the opportunity to soak in every second of Skrillex this year, especially with all of the logistical improvements being made by the Relentless Beats Team! Skrillex plays a little role in everyone’s EDM journey so I’m sure the crowd will be just as large this year.
5. Artist: Tchami x Malaa Track: “Made in France”
Why?: This is a certified party track and I can already picture the crowd exploding with this one! Both Tchami & Malaa know how to get a crowd to lose their damn minds so I’m not even sure if we will be able to handle it when they team up and drop this banger!
5.5 Bonus Recommendation Track: “Pregnant” by Malaa
Why?: I absolutely LOVE this track. The bouncy beat is infectious as fuck and it gets stuck in my head for days. My big question for Malaa returning to the valley is are we going to have a bunch of September rave babies?!
Day Two: December 31st (In Alphabetical Order)
6. Artist: Decadon Track: “Hey Bud”
Why?: Features some delicious electric guitar riffs that I am dying to hear live. Decadon does so well at blending some funky guitar vibes with hard bass drops. I can only imagine what that’s going to be like paired with the energy of a festival crowd. Definitely check out this track ahead of time! It’s a great sample of what he has to offer.
7. Artist: Diplo and Jonas Brothers Track: “Lonely”
Why?: We could all use a little bit of Boy Band love every now and again! Diplo paired up with the Jonas Brothers this fall to release this melodic track that is so much fun to sing along to! You can always count on Diplo to bring a fun set that can get anybody moving.
8. Artist: Fisher Track: “You Little Beauty”
Why?: While this New Years’ party may be happening in the desert it’s still going to be cold AF. Fisher always brings total heat with his signature bounce to all his sets! I’m sure by the end of his time slot you’ll be turning to your friends saying he’s “got me burning!”
9. Artist: GRiZ b2b Subtronics Track: “Griztronics”
Why?: I can already picture myself getting all sorts of wobbly on the dance floor to this track! GRiZ partnering up with Subtronics is going to be a totally wild ride to wrap up 2019. I know a lot of bass heads have been bumping this track since August when the duo first dropped it. I know this shit be hitting different through my car speakers but does this shit really be hitting different live? Let’s find out…
10. Artist: Zeds Dead Track: “Bumpy Teeth”
Why?: This is an absolutely brand spanking new track!!! The boys of Zeds Dead teamed up with Subtronics to drop this heavy banger! It’s a fun track that alternates between a chill downbeat and a heavy bassline. Also, Subtronics is going to be performing his own set at Decadence so, who knows, maybe this is going to be a fresh track we get to see live with the whole squad!!
Check out our playlist and make sure to grab your tickets before it’s too late!
