Armin van Buuren – ‘Balance’
Armin van Buuren finally unleashes his new artist album ‘BALANCE’. As stated by Armin van Buuren, the album is about thinking in possibilities rather than definition, thinking about what music could be instead of what it should be.
“Every song I make teaches me something new, and the next song is always a result of all my previous records, the new things I learned and the people I met. Over the years, this process — and especially the fun of creating — became more and more important to me. It’s a journey that gives me meaning and helps me learn more about my personal interests rather than focus on the recognition I get for the outcome. That’s the big difference between who I am today and who I was a few years ago. ‘BALANCE’ is a new chapter in my book of life, the result of venturing into known and unknown territories while finding the balance in between. Hardwell x Deorro x MAKJ – ‘Left, Right (feat. Fatman Scoop)’
Starting off with a pummelling bassline, ‘Left, Right’ escalates with throttling pace. Belgian bass duo Ganja White Night (Benjamin Bamby & Erwan Dodson) return with their brand-new album ‘The One’ on Subcarbon Records. The fan-dubbed “wobble masters” had one thing in mind while creating this record and that is to tell the story about Mr. Wobble. Electronic musician, drummer, and activist Madame Gandhi is back with ‘Visions’, the second installment in her short form album trilogy and ongoing project that elevates and celebrates the female voice. Visions is a politically super-charged anthemic body of musical work that explores fourth wave feminism and redefines elements of modern femininity today. A world-renowned percussionist and outspoken advocate for gender liberation, Madame Gandhi uses her second EP to pair soundbites of her talks around the world with driving drum solos, joyful percussion and uplifting melodies.
Orkidea – ‘Nana (Jerome Isma-ae’s In Search of Sunrise Remix)’
Some remixes are really just that good. A mainstay of a number of DJs sets a full 365 after its original release, ‘Nana’ has come to be regarded as one of Jerome Isma-Ae’s finest. Despite its reception and enduring appeal, the German musician’s always felt a touch of ‘unfinished business’ about his 2016 work on Orkidea’s contemporary classic. There was however no logical reason to return to it until this summer, when Jerome and Orkidea’s schedules synced for a second time.
ZHU x partywithray – ‘Came For The Low’
Astralwerks has released ‘Came For The Low’, the new single from ZHU and partywithray. The track is a four-on-the-floor club record with trademark ZHU vocals and an addictive low bassline. A longtime musical compatriot of ZHU, with roots in L.A.’s storied indie scene, the mysterious partywithray adds his special sauce to the proceedings with a style and flair that channels the bratty step kid of Prince and Fisher, but with an attitude that is all his own.
Kristian Nairn – ‘Evolve’
New from this multi-skilled creator, Kristian Nairn is single ‘Evolve’, a rapturous piece of progressive trance. Built on a base of stabby chords that are later joined by sparkling arpeggiated synths, the euphoric song builds gracefully into a fully-formed shape across its 3 and a half minutes.
Doctor P x Franky Nuts – ‘Give It Up’
Bass heavyweight Doctor P is going tag team with the unstoppable Franky Nuts on new track ‘Give It Up’. Their powers combined, it’s hard not to see this song slipping into the sets of major artists. Summer may be over, but this is proof incarnate festival bangers are here to stay.
Notaker – ‘From Dust and Ashes’
Much like his previous work, ‘From Dust and Ashes’ creates an immersive sonic exploration through the limits of the mind and into another dimension. Breaking through a progressive mold, Notaker creates harmony with heavy synthesizers and scintillating chords. AHEE – ‘Spellbound’

Germany Germany – ‘Someone New’
Ever evolving and ever changing, Germany Germany finds himself growing now more than ever in his budding career. Upon moving to a new city, the musician took it upon himself to become “someone new” and step outside of any boundaries he imposed upon himself. ‘Someone New’ is the mellifluous brainchild of those thoughts: an emotionally moving ballad chock-full of soft croons chronicling the desire for important change. A compositionally stunning track, Germany Germany aims for the heart in his first single ahead of full album release.
Crankdat – ‘Fearworld’
Hitting two tracks in length, the Ohio based producer, Crankdat just keeps getting better with each new project and ‘Fearworld’ is no exception. First up on the EP is ‘Horror Hour’, which stays true to its title with eerie melodic chimes and darting drum claps. As it makes a driving ascension, expect hard-hitting vocal chops and punchy drops to enter to mix with unyielding abandon. The second cut is ‘Phantom Cry’, again filling the speakers with fragments of vocals and fast-building beats. Packed with intense bassline drives and squawking melodies, Crankdat completes his pair of fresh sounds with signature aplomb.
Black Caviar – ‘Boing / Keep My High’
Opening the EP with the A-Side single ‘Boing’, Black Caviar flaunt their signature funky-house production style with bouncing tempos and striking basslines. Leading the track with a rich vocal sample mixed with four-on-the-floor production. Next, on the B-Side is ‘Keep My High’, an ambient melodic house tune with a harmonically-rich vocal layered over masterful piano chords and rhythmic basslines.
Rat City x Kiesza – ‘Naked (With My Headphones On)’
Rat City returns with their most infectious single yet ‘Naked (With My Headphones On)’ featuring Kiesza.
