Get your wallet ready – it’s time to enter back through the portal to Digital Gardens.
Held in Charlotte, North Carolina each year, the 2020 installment of Digital Gardens will be on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th at the Shed Amphitheater. Early bird tickets are going to be live this Friday (time not yet announced). However, it’s not one we will be waiting to purchase. With prices as reasonable as they were last year, we don’t want to miss out on the best deal.
Last year’s lineup was one you couldn’t miss out on if you were a basshead at heart. With G Jones, Liquid Stranger, 1799-L and Virtual Riot, it was essentially a mini Lost Lands. Some up-and-coming artists performed too, like Stylust, Wax Future, Jantsen, and Tripnotic.
In the first year of the festival, in 2018, the headliners included Minnesota, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Bear Grillz and Boogie T. Knowing this, we are anticipating quite the lineup for 2020. All we know is that we will be blessed with some of the best bass artists around.
One of the special things about Digital Garden is that it’s not just a music festival. The event, run by SOMA entertainment, prides itself on also being an art celebration. According to their website, Digital Gardens provides “some of the best event production in our area, ensuring that our events are well organized, our staff is well prepared, our art is top-notch, and our events are filled with ‘intricate sounds to feed your consciousness.’”
Besides the mainstage, which is decked out in state-of-the-art LED screens, PK sound, pyrotechnics, and lasers, the festival also has a second area dedicated specifically for an all-night silent disco. Each night they also offer parties after the festival, which ended by midnight each day last year.
Plus, the venue offered free parking for the event last year. Score.
It really doesn’t get better than this! Bassheads unite, and get ready to grab your tickets Friday!
