Kaskade Brings the Rukus | Track Club Phoenix Grand Opening Weekend

by Tanya Valencia

Phoenix has been blessed with the arrival of some amazing new music venues over the past few years with new arrivals such as The Van Buren and Shady Park. Relentless Beats and Thomas Turner announced back in July that they would be adding to this selection of music venues by opening Track Club in the previously vacated Desoto Central Market space in downtown Phoenix. There have already been a handful of shows throughout the month of October with big names like Morgan Page and What So Not. These have been apart of their soft opening as they have their grand opening weekend set for the first weekend in November with Kaskade headlining their Saturday, November 9th show and Malaa headlining the Sunday, November 10th show.

Relentless Beats and Kaskade are actually teaming up to pull off a single night doubleheader for Arizona fans. DUSK Music Festival is happening in Tucson, just two hours south of Phoenix. Kaskade will be headlining down south for night one of the festival and then heading straight to Track Club in Phoenix to close out the night. Part of me is shocked but also Kaskade seems to be everywhere all the time and who better to facilitate a doubleheader than Relentless Beats!

I’m really looking forward to making it out to Kaskade’s show as I have been a long time Kaskade fan! I’ve seen him at a variety of festivals but I’ve never attended a club event of his before. I’m excited that my first visit to Track Club will be for, what is sure to be an excellent night of Kaskade grooves! I think Relentless Beats and Kaskade have cooked up an awesome weekend of music for fans in both Phoenix and Tucson.

Kaskade’s current focus is his Redux 003 Tour happening through this fall. Unfortunately, his Track Club and DUSK stops are not apart of his Redux tour but I’m holding out some hope that he will mix in some Redux tracks here and there for us. He released his incredible 18 track Redux 003 album in May of this year. A few tracks I’m really hoping to hear are Rukus and his version of The Diner. I can’t wait!!!
