The week we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived music lovers. Yes, the first weekend of Austin City Limits 2019 is upon us. I can feel the excitement in the air and see the preparations already in full swing. Everywhere you turn in Austin, the city is abuzz with anticipation.
Everyone is super excited to check out some of the major headliners for ACL 2019 like The Cure, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, and Guns N’ Roses. This will be the first ACL appearance for Guns N’ Roses and fans are eager to see what they have in store for the fest. Hometown favorite Gary Clark Jr. will no doubt amaze with tracks from his new album “This Land” which was released earlier this year. Gates open at noon on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and it’s going to be a hot weekend in Austin so plan accordingly. Dress light and remember to hydrate! Bags are allowed in the fest but make sure they are not too large; nobody wants to turn around to walk back to the car to put something away. Check out a full list of prohibited items here.
Traffic will be crazy this weekend and if you are not familiar with the area, Austin is known for its hectic traffic jams.
