The week is finally upon us Anjunafam and the countdown has begun. I can feel the excitement in the air and I’ve seen it across the interwebs. Yes, it’s Anjunabeats Austin week!
Anjunabeats Miami kicked off the North American tour in all-star fashion! The show was stellar and the perfect precursor to the insanity that will be in town this Friday. Everyone in Texas has been totally stoked for this event. The lineup for the Austin show is bringing the heat. Some of the biggest and best Anjuna artists are making their way to the Lone Star State: Andrew Bayer, ilan Bluestone, Genix, Grum, Oliver Smith, Sunny Lax and Tinlicker.
ilan Bluestone is fresh off the heels of debuting two new releases, “Hong Kong/Steeder”. This is the second release from his forthcoming “We Are The Universe EP”, arriving April 26. First heard at ilan’s outstanding Group Therapy 300 set in Hong Kong last year, the abrasive bass grooves and tribal melodies of “Hong Kong” are clearly influenced by the Far East. Combined with the relentless euphoria of “Steeder”, the double A-side displays the punchy sound that ilan Bluestone has come to be known for.
I don’t know who I’m more excited for?! I believe it’s a toss-up between Andrew Bayer b2b ilan Bluestone and Oliver Smith b2b Sunny Lax. But make no mistake, the whole night will be jam-packed with purely intoxicating melodies. The event will no doubt be an out of this world experience. Anjuna fans are not just your typical electronic music lovers, we are ANJUNAFAM!
