In less than two weeks, the World of EDC, where all are welcome, makes its return to Japan. Once more the music and Headliners will dance across the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach Park on Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th. Early last week, Insomniac released the complete and fully loaded lineup for EDC Japan 2019. With four stages, two days, and this eclectic group of artists, this is going to be one serious international affair.
Electric Stages
This year there are a few game changers coming to the scene. Two of Insomniac’s genre based divisions, Factory 93 and HARD will be making a debut appearance at the Electric Daisy Carnival. Looking for some hip-hop and bass? Head over to cosmicBEACH hosted by HARD Summer. One for the opposite sound? Techno and House will be presented by Womb & Hyte at Factory 93’s neonGarden. There are some of you that enjoy traveling around to explore all that the festival has to offer. Insomniac is one step ahead and thought of you as well; the boomboxARTCART, a rolling stage and true piece of art, will be roaming to various locations of the venue.
The Artists Who are Bringing the Love
Alison Wonderland, Skrillex, Born Dirty, and Armin Van Buuren are just a few of the eye-catching names on the EDC Japan lineup. If I were you, I would NOT miss the extraordinary duo Tchami b2b Malaa. As I was strolling the decks of Holy Ship 12.0, I unexpectedly dropped in on their set. EPIC! One thing is for sure, do not leave the house without your love. In its second consecutive year in Japan the mainstage, kineticField is bringing kineticLove to showgoers.
Don’t Wait Headliners
Although May seems far away, we all know that time flies when you’re planning fun. Both General Admissions, and VIP tickets are still available for purchase. Like all Insomniac festivals, the tickets are priced in tiers, so get them before they go up! If I were you I would go with the VIP option. It has everything you could need from free lockers (first come, first serve), the ability to skip the lines, two drink tickets, and even one welcome champagne with an exclusive gift! I’d say it is worth it given Insomniac’s history of sensory overload experiences. Get to it Freaks!
