Armin Van Buuren‘s brand A State Of Trance is known for having a yearly tour around the world with a festival-style celebration for the radio show’s milestone. After stopping over at Utrecht in the Netherlands, for ASOT’s 900th episode, AVB will land in the capital of Spain on March 9, 2019. Going to Ibiza is one main reason electronic dance music lovers find themselves in Spain. This year, trance lovers are given the opportunity to enjoy trance in a proper and non-commercial setting.
This isn’t the first time A State Of Trance has been hosted in Madrid. For the 600th episode tour it was hosted at Florida Park and this year’s edition will be hosted at IFEMA – Madrid Fair. IFEMA will give similar vibes to Jaarbeurs in Utrecht as both are convention halls that are transformed for the evening. Expect massive production, and improved sound quality thanks to the new venue. Although travelers like myself will get to enjoy this wonderful experience, the true winners are all the local trance fans in Spain.
The ASOT brand has always been about diversity within the trance scene, and with the ASOT Madrid line up release it was clear they are still dedicated to a line up for everyone. Trance fan favorites such as Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz, and Super 8 & Tab are on the bill, as are some artists possibly unknown to Madrid fans like Chris Schweizer, Mark Sixma and Maor Levi.
