UK techno artist ADRIANNA has tapped acclaimed Japanese duo Drunken Kong to rework her track “Snake Eyes,” with the remix arriving October 30, 2026, through her own TMPL Music imprint. The release marks the fifth installment in a seven-week remix series celebrating her recently released album, ADRIANNARCHY, which arrived October 23. The series has brought together a lineup of established techno artists, including T78, Wehbba, Alex Stein, Christian Smith, and The Obsessed, each offering a fresh interpretation of the album’s material.
Known for precision-driven production and high-impact DJ sets, ADRIANNA has steadily built a presence across Europe’s club and festival circuit. Her music has earned support from prominent techno names such as Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, and Nicole Moudaber. That growing recognition has also led to a cover feature in Vicious Magazine, alongside coverage and support from DJ Mag Netherlands, DJane Mag, Mixmag Brazil, and Mixmag Germany.
Her recent performances have taken her to some of the region’s notable electronic music destinations, including E1 London, Eden Ibiza, Creamfields’ Steelyard, and Forbidden Forest’s Arcadia Spider. Along the way, she has shared lineups with respected artists such as Pan-Pot, UMEK, and Alan Fitzpatrick.
For the latest remix, ADRIANNA joins forces with Drunken Kong, the Tokyo-based techno duo formed in 2011. The pair have established an international reputation through releases on respected labels including Drumcode, Tronic, Terminal M, and Octopus Recordings. In 2022, they became Beatport’s best-selling Techno artist, following the success of “Take The Bass,” which topped the charts. The following year brought another milestone when they became the first Asian act to release an EP on Drumcode. Their release “I Want To See” reached the number two position.
Beyond their studio work, Drunken Kong have performed at major events around the world, including ULTRA Japan, ULTRA Korea, Sónar, and Rave The Planet. The duo also handle their own production and engineering, maintaining a hands-on approach to their sound.
Explaining their approach to “Snake Eyes,” Drunken Kong shared:
“We really liked the vocals on the original so we wanted to do something different. We came up with a synth hook we liked and the vibe went along with the vocal parts very nicely”.
Their interpretation takes the original vocals in a darker direction, surrounding ADRIANNA’s performance with sweeping reverb and delay. Heavy techno kicks anchor the production, while hypnotic basslines and repeating synth patterns create an eerie atmosphere built for the dancefloor. The arrangement pulls back before gradually rebuilding, introducing a melodic synth line that adds another layer to the track’s driving energy. A final, sidechained chorus brings the remix to a forceful conclusion.
With its combination of atmospheric vocals, relentless percussion, and melodic tension, Drunken Kong’s version gives “Snake Eyes” a distinct peak-time techno identity. The release continues the momentum behind ADRIANNARCHY while adding another international collaboration to ADRIANNA’s growing catalog. Fans of Charlotte de Witte, T78, and Adam Beyer will find plenty to appreciate in this darker reimagining.
