Electronic music heavyweights Seven Lions, Kill The Noise, and MUSTDIE! join forces on “Grant Us Eyes,” a dark, heavy new single arriving October 23 via Ophelia Records. Blending relentless trance, hardstyle, and dubstep, the collaboration marks the third installment in the artists’ ongoing series inspired by FromSoftware’s acclaimed video game Bloodborne.

What began with 2019’s “The Blood” has developed into a long-running creative thread connecting the three artists through their shared fascination with the game’s haunting world, gothic atmosphere, and cosmic horror. The original track established the foundation for the series by incorporating dialogue from the Doll character in Bloodborne’s Hunter’s Dream, including the instantly recognizable “Let me stand close / Now shut your eyes” sequence.

Four years later, Seven Lions and Kill The Noise returned to the game’s dark universe with “Moonlight,” a collaboration that fans quickly embraced as a sequel to “The Blood.” The release expanded the musical mythology surrounding the series, setting the stage for its latest chapter.

Now, “Grant Us Eyes” pushes the concept into heavier territory while bringing MUSTDIE! into the collaboration. Drawing directly from Bloodborne’s atmosphere and themes, the track combines pounding four-on-the-floor rhythms with the intensity of hardstyle and dubstep, creating a high-energy hybrid built for the dancefloor.

According to Kill The Noise, the collaboration developed naturally after Seven Lions sent him an early idea that felt like the next chapter in their series. The artists continued refining the track until they settled on a four-on-the-floor production running at 160 BPM. They then brought in MUSTDIE! to supply the missing element.

“The collaboration came together pretty naturally. Jeff (Seven Lions) sent me an early idea and said, ‘This feels like it could be part three of our series.’ We kept refining it until we landed on a four-on-the-floor track at 160 BPM, but we were missing that final element to push it over the top. Jeff suggested Lee (MUSTDIE!), and he was absolutely right. Lee completely elevated the record, and it’s become one of my favorite songs to play in my sets,” Kill The Noise explained.

The release follows “I Need,” the latest collaboration between Seven Lions and Kill The Noise, which arrived August 28 through Monstercat and Ophelia Records. The track marked the duo’s eighth collaboration and their second release together on Monstercat, following their 2017 single “Cold Hearted.”

For Seven Lions, “Grant Us Eyes” arrives during a particularly prolific period. His acclaimed album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars and companion EP The Dreams Strange and Eternal recently earned recognition, including Album of the Year from Dancing Astronaut and Best Album at the EDM Awards. Alongside his recorded output, the producer continues to expand his live performances, with Opus Harmonia, a one-night-only collaboration with the Seattle Symphony, scheduled for September 25 at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall.

The artists also have upcoming appearances together, including the Monstercat x Ophelia Records showcase at Ministry of Sound in London on October 16, followed by a performance at Amsterdam Dance Event on October 22.

With “Grant Us Eyes,” Seven Lions, Kill The Noise, and MUSTDIE! continue developing a musical universe rooted in their shared appreciation for Bloodborne. The latest chapter builds on the series’ established identity while taking its sound in a heavier direction, bringing the game’s dark atmosphere into an increasingly intense electronic collaboration.
