Roger Sanchez has released Spectrum Refracted, a six-track companion to his album Spectrum, which arrived in June and marked his first studio LP in 20 years. Out now via Stealth Records, the release offers an alternate perspective on the album, bringing together five remixes of tracks from the original record and a previously unreleased collaboration with EMan.

Opening the collection is ‘Feel Free,’ a new track featuring EMan, the producer, DJ, and owner of Run Bklyn Trax Company and Liberate Recordings. The track leads into a selection of reworked songs from Spectrum, with contributions from established names in house music and versions shaped by the sounds that defined Sanchez’s summer performances.

Among the standout additions is a remix of ‘Canto Al Amor,’ originally featuring Aaron Sevilla and Kristen Knight, reimagined by fellow Grammy winner and New York house music legend David Morales. The release also features two Flower Power remixes from Sanchez himself: ‘How Do We Say Goodbye,’ featuring Karen Harding, and ‘I Don’t Wanna Know,’ featuring Melanie C of the Spice Girls.

Both reworks became part of the soundtrack to Sanchez’s summer residency at Pacha Ibiza, where his Flower Power concept continued to connect his house music roots with the energy of the island’s club scene. He brought the residency to a close on October 10 as part of the first night of Pacha’s Grand Closing Weekend, sharing the occasion with MK and LAEET.

Elsewhere on Spectrum Refracted, Dani Masi takes on ‘Temptation,’ the collaboration featuring Low Steppa and Ragdoll. The collection closes with another version of ‘I Don’t Wanna Know,’ this time remixed by Serdar Guven and Ahmed Ahmedov. Their remix was selected by Sanchez and Melanie C as the winner of a global competition held in partnership with Beatport, chosen from hundreds of submissions.

For Sanchez, the release captures a set of tracks that became essential during his summer shows and offers listeners a chance to experience familiar songs through a different lens.

“These remixes and my unreleased track with EMan have been secret weapons all summer long – at my Pacha Flower Power residency in Ibiza and all around Europe. I wanted to share them with everyone in the way I see and hear them – like light refracting from a prism, changing the way you see it, these versions represent an alternative way to experience songs from my album ‘Spectrum,’” said Roger Sanchez.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Sanchez remains a defining figure in house music. Born in Corona, Queens, New York, he developed his musical identity through the city’s hip-hop culture, working as a b-boy, graffiti artist, and record collector. He initially financed his early gigs by selling mixtapes on the sidewalks of Broadway before leaving his architecture studies at the Pratt Institute to pursue music full-time.

His international breakthrough came in 2001 with ‘Another Chance,’ which reached number one in the UK and went on to achieve millions of sales and streams. In 2003, he earned a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording for his remix of No Doubt’s ‘Hella Good.’ His extensive remix catalogue also includes work connected to Michael Jackson, The Police, Diana Ross, Jamiroquai, and Maroon 5.

Beyond his work as a DJ and producer, Sanchez founded Stealth Records and hosts Release Yourself, a long-running platform that reaches more than 20 million listeners across over 30 markets worldwide. The show received the first-ever Best Podcast Award at the International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs) in 2007.

An established presence in Ibiza since 2000, Sanchez has held residencies at Space, Cream, Glitterbox, Defected, Pacha, and Amnesia. His 2026 schedule included the Flower Power residency at Pacha Ibiza, alongside major European festival appearances and Hacienda Classical dates.

With Spectrum Refracted, Roger Sanchez revisits the music of Spectrum through new collaborations and remixes shaped by the dance floors where they first took hold. The release brings together his longstanding connection to house music, a fresh collaboration with EMan, and a collection of alternate versions that reflect the music’s evolution throughout his latest summer season.
