French electronic music duo Justice are bringing their signature sound to one of gaming’s most anticipated releases, with Rockstar Games announcing the Grammy-winning pair as composers of the original dynamic score for Grand Theft Auto VI. The announcement arrives alongside “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new single featuring fellow Grammy-winning artists Tame Impala and SZA, as well as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Serving as the musical foundation for the latest Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, “Flower in a Hurricane” offers another preview of the sound shaping the next chapter in the blockbuster gaming franchise. The track follows earlier glimpses of Justice’s music for the game, including excerpts featured in Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look and other major game announcements. With the duo now confirmed to be composing the original score, further details about the project are expected to emerge.

Beyond its role in the game’s promotional campaign, “Flower in a Hurricane” is available as a standalone single from Justice and will also appear on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack. The album is available to pre-save on major streaming platforms, with vinyl and CD editions available for pre-order through the official GTA VI album website.

The involvement of Justice marks another major milestone for the French duo, whose influence on electronic music stretches back nearly two decades. They first emerged through the influential Parisian label Ed Banger Records, gaining attention with the groundbreaking single “Waters of Nazareth.” Their debut album further established their reputation, propelled by the international success of “D.A.N.C.E.” and a sound that helped define a generation of French electronic music.

Their work on Grand Theft Auto VI follows the successful campaign surrounding their 2024 album, Hyperdrama. The project launched with a stage-closing performance at Coachella before the duo embarked on a major arena tour across the United States. Along the way, Justice earned a Grammy Award for Best Electronic Recording for “Neverender,” their multiplatinum collaboration with Tame Impala.

With “Flower in a Hurricane” now available and their original score in development, Justice are extending their influence into the world of video games while continuing a career defined by ambitious production and genre-blurring collaborations. Their contribution to Grand Theft Auto VI adds another layer to the game’s musical identity, with more information about the original score still to come.
