Elderbrook is entering a new creative chapter with the announcement of his fourth studio album, Heart on a Wire, arriving January 22, 2027, through Counter Records, a Ninja Tune label. The 10-track project finds the GRAMMY-nominated British artist exploring a more alternative, song-driven direction, placing his vocals and songwriting at the center while retaining the atmospheric electronic production that has become a defining part of his sound.
Featuring collaborations with UK artists Rules and Tourist, Heart on a Wire reflects a renewed focus on songwriting and musical instinct. Rather than relying solely on electronic arrangements, Elderbrook approaches the album from a more indie-inspired perspective, allowing ideas to develop naturally and giving each song room to take shape.
“Making Heart on a Wire felt like reconnecting with the instincts that first drew me to music,” Elderbrook shares. “I wanted to approach the album more from an indie music point of view, following ideas wherever they led and letting the songs take shape naturally. That process helped me make a record that feels genuinely true to who I am as a musician.”
The announcement also introduces the new single “Lost in the View,” a track inspired by Elderbrook’s move from the UK to Los Angeles. Written during that transition, the song explores renewal and the uncertainty of starting over, using imagery of ocean tides, distance, and finding home to capture the feeling of moving forward and opening yourself up to a new chapter.
The album marks a significant moment in Elderbrook’s relationship with Ninja Tune, with Marie Clausen, Managing Director of North America at Ninja Tune, expressing enthusiasm about the release and the artist’s arrival at the label. She describes Heart on a Wire as a moving record and highlights his ability to connect with audiences through music, setting the stage for the next phase of his career.
Alongside the album announcement, Elderbrook has revealed the first leg of his 2027 Heart on a Wire Tour, a North American run projected to reach approximately 32,000 tickets across its dates. The tour begins March 18 at HISTORY in Ottawa, Ontario, before traveling through major markets across the United States and Canada.
The schedule includes stops at MTELUS in Montreal, Roadrunner in Boston, and The Fillmore Philadelphia, before a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on April 3. Arlo and Rules will provide support throughout the tour, while Mindchatter joins the lineup as a special guest for the Red Rocks performance. Additional tour legs and dates are expected to be announced later.
Fans can access the online artist presale beginning Tuesday, October 20, at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales open Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local venue time. Presale access registration is available through Elderbrook’s official website at elderbrookofficial.com.

With Heart on a Wire, Elderbrook is embracing a more direct and personal approach to songwriting without abandoning the electronic atmosphere that has helped establish his identity. The combination of new music and an extensive North American tour offers an opportunity to bring that evolution to audiences in 2027, as he explores the space between alternative songwriting and electronic music.
