Global DJ and producer Mau P is expanding his influence on the electronic music scene with the launch of Baddest Behaviour Records, a new label focused on supporting emerging artists and bringing underground club music to a wider audience. Building on the success of his Baddest Behaviour event series and residency at Pacha Ibiza, the label marks the next chapter in his commitment to the culture that helped shape his career.
For Mau P, the launch is about creating opportunities for artists who deserve a platform. After receiving support from established DJs and producers early in his own journey, he now hopes to offer that same encouragement to the next generation of talent.
“This is for all the artists that have been sending me music, and I’m finally able to give them a platform, just like how other DJs and artists were supportive of me in the beginning,” Mau P says. “I’m not trying to follow what’s popping right now. I’m just trying to take it back to the core, this is for the culture.”
Since breaking through internationally with “Drugs From Amsterdam,” Mau P has become one of dance music’s most in-demand names. Chart-topping releases, sold-out shows, and the growth of his Baddest Behaviour events have helped establish his presence across the global club circuit.
Now, he is channeling that momentum into a platform built around the music and artists he believes in. Rather than chasing fleeting trends or relying on established formulas, Baddest Behaviour Records aims to champion forward-thinking club sounds while maintaining a strong connection to underground dance music.
The label also extends the vision behind Baddest Behaviour, bringing the spirit of the event series and Pacha Ibiza residency into a new space for artist development and music discovery. By connecting emerging talent with dancefloors around the world, Mau P hopes to help more artists reach audiences without losing sight of the club culture at the heart of the movement.
With Baddest Behaviour Records now launched, further announcements and releases are expected as Mau P begins building the label’s roster and shaping its musical direction. For an artist who has experienced the impact of industry support firsthand, the new venture offers a chance to pass that opportunity forward and help shape the next wave of underground electronic music.
