Swedish electronic artist Bella Boo returns to Aus Music with “Angel,” the second single from the forthcoming collaborative compilation EP Room 02, presented by Aus Music and fabric Records. Released October 8, the track follows SYREETA and Huxley’s “We Synthesize,” offering another preview of a project rooted in the longstanding relationship between the label and the iconic London club.

Blending jungle breaks, warm synths, nimble melodies, and subtle acid influences, “Angel” unfolds as a dreamy, euphoric journey through contrasting electronic textures. Skipping between energetic breakbeats and softer, psychedelic passages, the production balances off-kilter grooves with an infectious melodic sensibility. The result captures Bella Boo’s playful approach to electronic music while delivering a track equally suited to immersive listening and the dancefloor.

The inspiration behind “Angel” came from a night spent surrounded by nature in southern Sweden. Bella Boo created the track while staying in a cabin near the beach in Österlen, where two weeks in the woods had left her feeling creatively inspired.

“I made this track one night in a cabin on a beach in Österlen in the southern parts of Sweden,” Bella Boo explains. “I had spent 2 weeks in the woods by the beach, and I was so inspired by the magical nature. It was a full moon the night I made the track, and the reflection of the moon in the water was like a golden road – we call it ‘mångata’ in Swedish.”

That sense of wonder carries through the track’s melodic details and atmospheric production, reflecting an artist whose influences extend well beyond club music. Having grown up playing piano and cello, Bella Boo developed an appreciation for a wide range of sounds, drawing from R&B, soul, jazz, punk, reggae, and pop before finding her place in Stockholm’s club scene.

Since her 2018 debut, she has continued to develop a distinctive production style that pairs club-focused rhythms with an exploratory melodic approach. Her return to Aus Music follows the release of her Shakedown EP for the label earlier this year. Beyond the studio, Bella Boo has brought her sound to internationally recognized dance music destinations, including Panorama Bar, Printworks, and fabric.

The release of “Angel” also reflects a significant chapter in the relationship between Aus Music and fabric. For more than 15 years, Aus Music held a quarterly residency in fabric’s Room 2, creating a platform for emerging artists and providing space to explore new sounds across house, garage, and bass music.

Over the years, the partnership has produced memorable moments, including Joy Orbison’s fabric debut and the first-ever CLOSE Live performance from Aus Music founder Will Saul. As the long-running residency comes to a close, Room 02 offers a new way to celebrate that shared history while bringing together established artists and contemporary underground talent.

Following “We Synthesize,” “Angel” continues to establish the musical direction of Room 02, showcasing the diversity and creative spirit that have shaped the partnership between Aus Music and fabric Records. With the full compilation EP scheduled to arrive later in October, the project looks back on a lasting connection to club culture while opening the door to the next wave of electronic music.
