HEYZ Announces Biggest Headline Tour Yet With SOMETHING DIFFERENT

by Press Release
3 minutes read

Bass music breakout HEYZ is taking things to the next level with the announcement of “SOMETHING DIFFERENT,” his biggest national headline tour to date. The upcoming run arrives alongside his highly anticipated debut album, slated for release later this year, and will take his energetic live show to Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Brooklyn, Miami, and cities across the country.

For HEYZ, the rapid rise has been anything but conventional. Known for combining hard-hitting bass production with an irreverent sense of humor, the artist has turned the personality behind his music into an essential part of the project. What started with viral content has grown into a legitimate bass music career, earning recognition from major names including Drake and Justin Bieber.

His unofficial flip of Crankdat’s “Eyes Cut Deeper” only added fuel to the momentum. The track quickly became one of the scene’s most talked-about unofficial releases, helping introduce HEYZ’s sound and personality to an even wider audience.

The upcoming “SOMETHING DIFFERENT” tour will also bring HEYZ back to Denver for what could be his biggest hometown moment yet. The story began with a playful recreation of Frank Azar’s iconic “6 7” billboard in the heart of the city. The stunt picked up traction online and even caught the attention of FOX 32, turning a bit of hometown humor into a viral moment.

Now, that joke is coming full circle.

Early next year, HEYZ will take over Mission Ballroom and transform the venue into an immersive Laser Cage, marking the largest headline production of his career. Rather than simply surrounding the audience with production, the concept is designed to put fans directly inside it, with lasers encompassing the venue and HEYZ at the center of the experience.

The result is intended to be more than another hometown headline. Mission Ballroom will effectively become the Laser Cage, giving HEYZ a massive canvas to build the kind of high-impact live production that matches the energy of his music.

That ambition comes after a breakout run of performances that has already taken HEYZ well beyond his hometown. Following a sold-out headline at Denver’s Ogden Theatre, he has appeared at some of bass music’s biggest events, including EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, and Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree, where he delivered a special B2B set with Sippy.

His festival résumé has continued to expand with appearances at Bass Canyon, Lost Lands, and Hulaween, among others. Each performance has helped establish HEYZ as an emerging act willing to approach bass music from a different angle, blending aggressive production with the humor and personality that first put him on people’s radar.

With a debut album on the way and “SOMETHING DIFFERENT” set to become his largest headline tour yet, HEYZ is moving from viral moments into a much bigger chapter of his career. And if the Laser Cage is any indication, he plans to make that transition anything but subtle.
