Juos Makes Helix Records Debut With Latin-Fueled House Anthem ‘Tequila Bounce’

Juos officially begins his next chapter with Helix Records alongside No Thanks and NEVVE on their new collaborative single, ‘Tequila Bounce.’ Out now, the track brings together deep tech basslines, rolling house grooves, and a distinctly Latin edge for a high-energy club record built around tequila-fueled flirtation.

From its opening moments, ‘Tequila Bounce’ leans into the playful side of house music. Tight percussion and weighty low-end give the production plenty of movement, while NEVVE’s commanding vocal adds an infectious hook that keeps the record bouncing between cheeky attitude and late-night dancefloor energy. The chemistry between Juos and No Thanks gives the production a polished, groove-heavy foundation without taking away from the track’s Latin character.

For Juos, the release also marks an important milestone as he officially joins the Helix Records roster. The move arrives after a breakout stretch that has seen the Chicano producer steadily expand his footprint throughout the American dance music scene.

Earlier this year, Juos sold out his biggest headline show to date with a special 360-degree set at Exchange LA, while also appearing at EDC Las Vegas and Day Trip in the Park. He is set to continue that run with a performance at Nocturnal Wonderland later this month. ‘Tequila Bounce’ follows his previous Helix Records release, ‘Dame Más (Gasolina)’ with Andruss.

“The initial idea for this one actually started about a year ago when NEVVE sent over the vocal, and I instantly loved it. I mean, who doesn’t love a little tequila? This record really shows the perfect blend between No Thanks and me, and I’m glad it developed into such a high energy club record.” – Juos

Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Juos has built his identity around a Latin-infused take on tech house and bass house. His music has accumulated more than 10 million streams, while his releases have taken him to respected house imprints including Dirtybird and Thrive Music, as well as Cloonee’s Hellbent, Westend’s Trace Amounts, and Wax Motif’s Divided Souls.

That background makes ‘Tequila Bounce’ a natural progression for the producer. Rather than treating Latin influence as a surface-level addition, Juos folds it into the attitude and rhythmic character of the record, creating a sound that reflects both his Los Angeles roots and his increasingly club-focused production style.

Joining him is Canadian producer No Thanks, the newly launched solo project of Giuliano Rascan. Known for his self-described “Polite House” sound, No Thanks has released music through Terminal Underground, House Call Records, and Confession, while collaborating with artists including San Pacho, NIIKO X SWAE, and BIJOU.

Rounding out the collaboration, Los Angeles-based vocal project NEVVE brings a wealth of experience to the record. The prolific songwriting and vocal project has worked across the electronic spectrum with artists including ILLENIUM, Lane 8, Subtronics, Big Gigantic, and Boombox Cartel.

Together, Juos, No Thanks, and NEVVE turn ‘Tequila Bounce’ into a lively meeting point between Latin-infused house, deep tech grooves, and vocal-driven club music. For Juos, it is both a summer-ready dancefloor weapon and an introduction to what his next era with Helix Records could sound like.

Tequila Bounce by Juos, No Thanks, and NEVVE is out now on all major streaming platforms.
