The Kid LAROI returns with his new single “SLEEP,” accompanied by a music video directed by Ayodeji arriving today at 1 p.m. ET. The emotionally charged release offers a glimpse into an unreleased chapter of LAROI’s creative journey, having originally been written for an album that was ultimately scrapped before the release of his latest project, BEFORE I FORGET.
“SLEEP” marks the first of two songs that The Kid LAROI felt deserved to reach listeners despite the album they were originally created for never seeing the light of day. Rather than leaving the tracks behind, LAROI is giving fans the opportunity to hear music that otherwise would have remained in the vault.
The new single arrives shortly after The Kid LAROI wrapped the North American and Asian legs of his A PERFECT WORLD TOUR. The run follows the release of the deluxe edition of BEFORE I FORGET, which expanded on the Australian artist’s latest album and continued the momentum surrounding the project.
LAROI also made a surprise appearance during Justin Bieber’s headlining set at Coachella, where the two reunited to perform their global hit “STAY.” The performance marked another memorable moment in the ongoing relationship between the two artists and gave fans a surprise highlight during the festival.
The momentum will continue this fall as The Kid LAROI takes A PERFECT WORLD TOUR to Europe and the UK. The upcoming run will bring the singer and rapper to audiences across the region throughout October, continuing a global touring campaign that has already taken him across North America and Asia.
