London duo Worldpeace DMT, comprised of Leo Fincham and Rowan Please of The Femcels, have released their latest mixtape, Flowers Powers. The 11-track collection arrives alongside the announcement of the group’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Stick Around For Tea, which is scheduled for release this October.
The mixtape features the recently released single “Lonesome” as well as an inventive cover of Joni Mitchell’s classic “Big Yellow Taxi,” offering another glimpse into the band’s eclectic blend of underground pop, indie experimentation, and offbeat songwriting.
Along with the new music, Worldpeace DMT has confirmed that their debut U.S. headline tour has been rescheduled. The trio of performances will now take place this October with stops in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Updated ticket information is now available, giving American fans another opportunity to catch the band live.
The release continues the rapid evolution of a project that first emerged with the 2024 EP Brass Invaders, introducing listeners to the imaginative musical world of Leo Fincham. The following year saw the arrival of the debut album The Velvet Underground and Rowan, which marked the addition of longtime collaborator Rowan Please to the project. Together, the pair expanded the band’s creative scope, crafting an adventurous sound that earned praise from critics, with Pitchfork describing the album as “a brilliant and irreverent underground pop album.”
Earlier this year, the duo continued building momentum by releasing the music video for “Love Yourself,” a standout from their 2025 debut album, before joining forces with Bassvictim on the collaborative single “Year of the Dragon.”
With Flowers Powers serving as both a standalone release and a preview of what’s to come, Worldpeace DMT continue to showcase their unpredictable approach to songwriting while building anticipation for Stick Around For Tea. As the October album release and rescheduled U.S. tour draw closer, the London outfit appears poised to continue expanding its growing international audience.
