One of psy-techno’s most influential contemporary movements, Artcore, is set to make its Egyptian debut this fall with a special showcase at the Great Pyramids of Giza as part of Starlight Festival. Taking place on Friday, October 9, 2026, the showcase will bring together some of the most exciting names in techno and psytrance for the No Sleep Giza Stage, including Indira Paganotto, Charlie Sparks, BIIA, Paolo Ferrara, Valentinø, Reblok, and Juno.
The event follows sold-out Artcore showcases at Hï Ibiza and [UNVRS], marking a major milestone as the collective expands its global presence with its first-ever appearance in Egypt. Starlight Festival, taking place on October 9–10 at the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza, will also feature official Welcome and Farewell parties in Cairo on October 8 and October 11, creating a full destination experience for electronic music fans traveling from around the world.
Leading the Artcore takeover is founder Indira Paganotto, one of the most recognizable figures in the modern psy-techno movement. The Spanish DJ and producer ranked No. 36 in DJ Mag’s 2025 Top 100 DJs poll and has built a global following through her unique fusion of driving techno, psychedelic influences, and hypnotic rhythms. Alongside founding Artcore, Paganotto also holds a residency at Hï Ibiza, where she continues to showcase artists from the label’s expanding roster.
Joining her is BIIA, one of Portugal’s leading techno exports, known for high-intensity performances and powerful peak-time sets that have earned her appearances at major festivals across Europe. Her sound combines relentless energy with a refined approach to modern techno, making her one of the scene’s most exciting emerging talents.
Charlie Sparks will also bring his signature hard techno sound to the ancient setting of the Giza Pyramids. Born in London, Sparks has developed a dedicated global following with his self-described “hard and happy” style, blending elements of acid, industrial techno, EDM, and psytrance into explosive live performances.
Representing Italy, Paolo Ferrara brings a distinct edge shaped by industrial influences, heavy metal aesthetics, and powerful peak-time techno. As founder of HEX, Ferrara has become one of the most respected artists in the hard techno scene, while his long-standing appreciation for Egyptian culture adds a meaningful connection to the upcoming performance.
Completing the lineup are Valentinø, Reblok, and Juno, each bringing their own unique perspective to the Artcore sound. Valentinø, an Italian resident of the collective, is known for dark, hypnotic industrial techno sets, while Reblok has emerged as one of the Balkan region’s biggest electronic music exports. With multiple appearances in the Beatport Hard Techno Top 10, releases on labels including Artcore, Filth On Acid, and Verknipt, and support from artists such as Indira Paganotto, Reinier Zonneveld, Kobosil, and I Hate Models, Reblok has become a major force in the genre.
The youngest artist featured in the showcase, Juno, represents the next generation of electronic music talent. Beginning her journey in the underground techno scene of Belgrade, she has quickly gained recognition through standout performances including the Artcore takeover at No Sleep Festival, her debut at Tomorrowland, and appearances at the ARTCORE residency at Hï Ibiza, where she became the youngest DJ ever to perform.
The Artcore showcase joins an already impressive Starlight Festival lineup featuring global electronic music heavyweights including Adriatique, Charlotte de Witte, Michael Bibi, Enrico Sangiuliano, Pete Tong, Vintage Culture, WhoMadeWho, Awen, Deer Jade, Fiona Kraft, Layla Benitez, and Lanna, among others.
Presented in partnership with Visa, Starlight Festival aims to create one of the most extraordinary electronic music experiences ever staged. Produced by EXIT Festival and P+US, the electronic music platform of Venture Lifestyle, the event will mark the first multi-stage electronic music festival held at the Great Pyramids of Giza, uniting world-class artists, ancient history, and contemporary culture in a setting unlike any other.
