Australian house innovator Odd Mob joins forces with acclaimed duo Walker & Royce for their first collaboration, “Can’t Say Nah,” out now via Insomniac Records. Featuring the soulful vocals of Los Angeles lyricist, poet, and singer-songwriter Benni Ola, the new single blends infectious tech-house grooves with emotionally charged songwriting to deliver a dancefloor-ready anthem.
Built around themes of irresistible attraction and inner conflict, “Can’t Say Nah” pairs Benni Ola’s expressive vocal performance with crisp percussion, playful dog bark samples, rolling basslines, and layered synth textures. The result is a deep, groove-driven record that balances underground sensibilities with peak-time energy, showcasing the distinctive styles of both producers.
For Odd Mob, the release continues an impressive run that has firmly established the Brisbane producer as one of house music’s most exciting innovators. Known for his genre-defying productions and high-energy sound, he has built a reputation for pushing creative boundaries while delivering club records with massive crossover appeal.
The Australian producer previously appeared on Insomniac Records with his acclaimed The Unexplained EP in 2024 as part of his HYPERBEAM project alongside OMNOM, before returning with the standalone single “System.” That track has since amassed more than 5.5 million streams while earning support from leading artists including Dom Dolla, Martin Garrix, MEDUZA, Tiësto, Foster The People, NERO, and Devault.
Odd Mob is also in the midst of a busy North American tour, with appearances at major festivals including HARD Summer, Electric Forest, Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge, FVDED in the Park, Outside Lands, ARC Music Festival, and more before launching his Australia 2.0 headline tour later this year.
Meanwhile, Walker & Royce continue to demonstrate why they remain one of tech house’s most respected duos. Formed through New York City’s vibrant underground dance scene, the pair have built their career around timeless grooves that effortlessly blend tech house, indie dance, and deep house influences.
The duo’s relationship with Insomniac Records has continued to flourish following last year’s releases “Death By Love” and “Fee Fi Fo Fum.” Since then, they’ve headlined a sold-out show at Grand Park in Los Angeles and continue an extensive touring schedule featuring performances at Day Trip Seattle, ARC Music Festival, Elements Music & Arts Festival, Dirtybird x Northern Nights, Club Space, The Concourse Project, Mission Ballroom, and additional headline dates across North America.
With Benni Ola’s heartfelt vocal delivery anchoring the production, “Can’t Say Nah” highlights the chemistry between Odd Mob and Walker & Royce, combining polished production, infectious rhythms, and underground club energy into a collaboration that feels equally at home in intimate warehouse parties and massive festival sets.
