Desert Air Returns to Palm Springs for a Dazzling November Showcase

by Press Release

This November, the California desert will once again transform into a sanctuary for urban escapees and creative souls with the return of Desert Air, a festival dedicated to exploring the future of electronic music. Presented by Splash House and Goldenvoice, the event will take place in Palm Springs, continuing the region’s rich history of blending modern innovation with vintage aesthetics, shimmering desert horizons, and diverse musical traditions.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Mojave Desert, Desert Air offers a carefully curated experience spread across two of the region’s most iconic venues. During the day, festival-goers can enjoy the atmosphere at the Palm Springs Surf Club, where poolside sets, cultural programming, water activities, and a wide range of food and beverage options will be available. As night falls, the festival transitions to the Palm Springs Air Museum, a unique venue that pairs open-air dance floors with vintage aircraft, all set against the striking San Jacinto mountains.

This year’s lineup promises an eclectic array of avant-garde producers and genre-defying DJs. Headlining the event are Jamie xx, the innovative Kaytranada, and a special appearance by Club Heat, a new collaboration between Grammy-nominated artist Tove Lo and British singer-songwriter/producer SG Lewis. Joining them are British icon Shygirl with her Club Shy concept, underground queen VTSS, and electropop star Slayyyter, who will be delivering an exciting DJ set. Fast-rising UK bass and garage phenom Sammy Virji will also be showcasing his talents.

The festival will feature performances from some of the most respected names in the electronic music scene, including Avalon Emerson and Joy Orbison, whose recent track Flight FM has captivated listeners. Swedish pop sensation COBRAH, the dynamic duo Partiboi69 and KETTAMA as KETBOI69, Australian standout Mall Grab, and French trio Bon Entendeur are also set to perform. Fans can expect ethereal soundscapes from Sofia Kourtesis and a live performance from Sam Gellaitry.

Desert Air is also dedicated to spotlighting rising stars in the underground music scene, with performances from multi-talented artist Pretty Girl (Live), Punjabi garage leader Yung Singh, Italy’s okgiorgio, London duo JOY (Anonymous), and emerging talents Anish Kumar and ATRIP. These artists represent the left-of-center movement in electronic music, pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.

In addition to the music, the festival has partnered with some of Los Angeles’ foremost underground collectives, including Lights Down Low, Midnight Lovers, Por Detroit, and Chapter One, who will host a pop-up record shop at the event. Attendees can also look forward to a series of after-parties, top-tier food programming, and a range of immersive experiences that reflect the diversity of global nightlife and the vibrant culture of Palm Springs.

Tickets for Desert Air are available now. General Admission (GA) passes start at $184 plus fees, while VIP passes begin at $334 plus fees. Accommodations are available at partner hotels such as Ace Hotel, The Saguaro, The V, and Hyatt Palm Springs, with rates starting at $285 for two people or $172 for four.
