Los Angeles-based house music producer ERASR has teamed up with acclaimed DJ, producer, and Repopulate Mars founder Lee Foss for their vibrant new collaboration, “Party Monster.” Released via Foss’ influential label, the single combines infectious grooves, nostalgic influences, and an uplifting message of self-expression, marking another standout addition to the imprint’s catalogue of dancefloor-focused releases.
Built around an irresistible synth lead, driving rhythms, and playful vocal hooks, “Party Monster” captures the carefree spirit of house music while encouraging listeners to embrace their individuality. Designed for packed club floors and festival crowds alike, the track balances polished production with an unmistakable sense of fun.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, ERASR explained:
“‘Party Monster’ is about being your authentic self, having fun with who you are, and not taking life too seriously. It’s that feeling when everyone else is on a seven, but you’re on a ten because you just put on your favorite song and stopped caring what anyone thinks. Life is hard enough. Sometimes you just need to have fun.”
That philosophy extends beyond the single itself and defines ERASR’s wider artistic vision. Drawing inspiration from electronic music pioneers such as Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers, while also embracing the songwriting sensibilities of artists like Phil Collins, the producer has developed a style that blends club-ready rhythms with memorable melodies, engaging vocal arrangements, and carefully crafted musical compositions.
ERASR’s journey into electronic music began after witnessing deadmau5 unveil his iconic Cube stage production at Coachella, a transformative experience that inspired him to start producing music in Ableton Live. Before launching the ERASR project, he released music under a different alias through Armada Music, earning significant traction on SoundCloud and laying the foundation for his current creative direction.
A lifelong musician, ERASR’s background extends well beyond electronic production. Growing up playing guitar and performing in bands, he continues to incorporate live instrumentation, rich chord progressions, and traditional songwriting techniques into his house productions. This musical foundation gives his records a distinctive warmth that complements their club-focused energy.
His creative inspiration comes from a variety of experiences, from late-night warehouse parties across Downtown Los Angeles to crate-digging sessions with fellow music enthusiasts, as well as travels to internationally respected electronic music events including Sunwaves Festival and UNUM Festival. Those influences combine to create music that feels equally at home in underground clubs and festival main stages.
With Lee Foss bringing his signature groove-driven touch and ERASR delivering polished production and infectious songwriting, “Party Monster” is a celebration of dance music’s ability to bring people together. Equal parts nostalgic and contemporary, the collaboration reinforces the timeless appeal of feel-good house music while introducing listeners to one of the genre’s most promising emerging producers.
