Porter Robinson, the Grammy-nominated artist, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his widely acclaimed debut album Worlds with the release of two special edition vinyls: Worlds 10th Anniversary and Worlds Live at Second Sky 2019.
The Worlds 10th Anniversary Edition is a double vinyl featuring holographic cover art and a brand new bonus track titled “Hollowheart (ft. Amy Millan).” This song, originally recorded during the Worlds sessions but never released until now, joins fan-favorite tracks like “Divinity,” “Sad Machine,” and “Sea of Voices.” “Hollowheart” will be available for instant digital download upon purchase of the vinyl.
Worlds Live at Second Sky 2019 marks the first official release of the legendary live show audio from the debut edition of Porter’s iconic curated music festival, Second Sky. Widely regarded as one of the most influential shows in electronic music history, Worlds Live was a staple in the international festival scene from 2014 to 2019. This double vinyl captures the live edits of Worlds as performed at Second Sky 2019, presented in the same sequence as the original show.
These vinyl releases follow the success of Porter’s third studio album, SMILE! 😀, which has been praised by outlets like Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The Independent, NME, The Line of Best Fit, UPROXX, and The Skinny. In addition to Worlds, SMILE! 😀 is available as a Deluxe Box Set. The set comes packaged in a custom reusable carrying case and includes a double LP in opaque pink vinyl, an exclusive 7″ opaque pink vinyl of “Cheerleader,” an exclusive lyric and photo booklet, and an exclusive album art print. Fans can catch Porter Robinson live this fall on the SMILE! 😀 World Tour, where he will debut a completely new production with a live band on a 70+ date global run. The tour kicks off on August 29 in Boston, with notable stops including Forrest Hills in New York on August 31 and Hollywood Bowl on October 11. The tour will then head to Asia for a nine-city run starting in November 2024, followed by a European leg across eight countries in February and March 2025, including a performance at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy.
