The Dynamic duo that is Zeds Dead has been on a killer streak this year! I was fortunate to catch their New Year’s Eve at Decadence Arizona. Let me tell you, being right at the rail when they dropped “Ecstacy of Soul” was an out-of-body experience. After playing the track repeatedly in my car, in my headphones, and across my house, there was nothing compared to their live energy. Zeds Dead had no intentions of slowing down as they hit an incredible run, city to city. They played hours of killer music during their impressive weekend in Denver for the 4th of July holiday.
If you’re looking for a bit of Zeds Dead to tide you over till Goldrush Music Festival… check out their Deadbeats episode 300! Zeds Dead treated the Electric Forest (EF) world to a surprise set. They snuck away to the EVOL Afterhours stage in the EF campgrounds. To think some EF partons were lucky enough to stumble on a Zeds Dead after-hours set while strolling the campgrounds just blows my mind.
I may have my head in the clouds with this wish… but seeing as Hamdi is slated for Goldrush… and Zeds Dead will also be there… maybe we’ll see a live B2B featuring their recent single “Criminal.” With their recent run of surprises, I’d like to think I’m manifesting an epic fest moment rather than being a hopeless festival romantic.
Whether they’re playing the headlining slot at a major music festival or sneaking away to play a surprise set in a campground, you can always expect a stimulating and all-around WILD set from these two. I’m counting down the days until I’m back at the rail, loosing my shit! Be sure to grab your wristbands before they sell out.
