Deadbeats 420 | Sparking Excitement for 420 in Arizona with Zeds Dead, Troyboi, Liquid Stranger, 1788-L, and Blanke

by Taylor Morgan & Joshua Andrews

Pass the blunt and have a seat, because Relentless Beats ever so suddenly dropped their 420 lineup on us and we are still in shock. Deadbeats 420 makes its way into the Rawhide Western Town & Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, on, you guessed it, April 20th, 2019! This date is considered to be a certain “holiday” of sorts in the electronic dance music community, so of course Relentless Beats is bringing the heat for us!

Zeds Dead is no stranger to Rawhide. The iconic Canadian duo actually made a visit to Arizona most recently for Bassrush Massive 2018 this past August, and they blew our minds. Something even more special about this particular event is the fact that it is presented by Deadbeats, Zeds Dead’s uber-successful label/radio/tour. A Deadbeats and Relentless Beats collab is exactly what Arizona ravers have been praying for, and those prayers are finally being answered.

Last time we witnessed the master of downtempo dub, Liquid Stranger, in Arizona was at the legendary Goldrush Music Festival 2018, and his set was most definitely in our top five of the entire weekend. The same rings true for trap god Troyboi. They both completely annihilated the Pioneer Peak stage. Liquid Stranger’s set even had a time conflict with Deadmau5 and his cube, but still managed to gain a completely packed crowd. Both producers will be bringing the full weird for 420.

1788-L has also stopped in Arizona this past festival season, for BOO! Arizona 2018 right around Halloween, another huge raver “holiday.” This up-and-coming producer has been changing the game with his unique new beat industrial electronic style and collabs with artists such as Rezz and Tynan. Blanke is also another artist quickly making a name for himself. He, too, has a collab with Rezz that came out just a few months ago.

The moment this lineup dropped, we knew without hesitation that our plans for 420 would be Deadbeats 420. Thomas Turner and the entire Relentless Beats team have outdone themselves once again and we are so ready for it. Grab your friends and roll your blunts, Freaks, because the countdown to Deadbeats 420 starts now! Tickets are on sale now!
