Gabriel and Dresden are on fire and continue to bring the heat to close out 2019. Since releasing their comeback album “The Only Road” in 2017 they’ve been on a nonstop ride. Touring, collaborations, Grammy nominations and now they are now on the verge of releasing their newest album “Remedy”.
“Remedy” will be released on January 17th on Anjunabeats and it will be the third full-length LP from the Grammy-nominated duo. For this album, they’ve partnered once again with Kickstarter to raise funds for the production. Through Kickstarter, they created amazing ways for the fans to be involved in all aspects of making the album. They could get a thank you in the credits or even have the opportunity to come to their studio and create songs with them. Fans loved the way they were able to be involved and become a part of the project.
Gabriel and Dresden have been road testing their new tracks all summer most notably at The ABGT Weekender at The Gorge and ABGT350 at the O2 Arena in Prague. Their set at The ABGT Weekender was incredible and in my opinion one of the highlights of the entire weekend. We were also treated to an acoustic set by Josh Gabriel and Sub Teal. Hearing their tracks stripped down at sunset and surrounded by nature was an experience I will never forget.
Their ABGT 350 set was released last week and it’s outstanding. Performing for over 12,000 fans at the O2 Arena and thousands more watching live from watch parties all over the world; they took us on a musical trip throughout their catalog of tracks. The set includes “Coming on Strong” and “Keep On Holding” from their upcoming album as well as hits from “The Only Road” and beyond.
For their new release, Gabriel and Dresden have collaborated once again with Sub Teal and Jan Burton who’ve provided vocals on some of their most beloved tracks. I can’t wait to hear “Remedy” in its entirety. The songs I’ve heard so far are unbelievable and the rest of the album is bound to be amazing. “Remedy” is available for preorder now and will be available everywhere on January 17th. Gabriel and Dresden will also be announcing an International Remedy Tour in the coming weeks and we will keep you updated when that information becomes available.
