As we made our way out of Rawhide last night, I turned to look over at the venue one last time. It’s a strange feeling, to leave pieces of yourself in places scattered across venues all over the world. But when we leave those pieces, we have to remember that we are also gaining new pieces of ourself, growing. With every year that passes, this growth is inevitable as we experience more, create relationships, and touch the people around us. Decadence Arizona was absolutely the best place for this, as well as the best way to bid goodbye to 2018 and celebrate the arrival of 2019. With that being said, here are the top ten photos we felt best captured the night.
Warm, friendly ravers braved the cold and rain through the night. But if there’s one thing our kind of people has mastered, it is without a doubt the ability to look good despite the surroundings!
Marshmello packed the main stage, and left us wanting s’more. Whether you are a fan or not, no one can deny the fact that his sets are filled with energy.
Rides, rides, and more rides. We met up with a group of friends that had been on every single tummy-churning amusement attraction. When we asked them who they were most excited to see, they replied, “Wait, there’s music here too?!”
Something that our community is full of is artistic talent. No matter the form, art has a way of connecting people and letting them express themselves. In fact, it seems that more and more ravers are taking part in making their own outfits, and we are here for it!
Flashing lights, glittering attractions, and shimmering faces. From the locals stage all the way to the ball drop, every moment at Decadence filled our hearts.
Alison Wonderland brought it last night. Females are seriously taking the industry by storm, and there is something especially moving about watching someone onstage perform music that she personally wrote and produced. Oh and did we mention she does a ton of her own vocals?
NGHTMRE is an Arizona favorite. He is a master of stage presence, even standing next to the towering DJ Diesel! The trap lord broke our necks, gave us the feels for a minute when he dropped his Limelight remix, and honestly just left our bodies feeling like cracked glowsticks. Thanks, Tyler.
Ghastly acted like he owned the place. And as an AZ local, to a degree he kind of did! His visuals were absolutely next level. Oh, and he brought out the owner of one of our favorites to follow on Twitter, none other than Wendell Crow, his father!
This picture speaks for itself. Happy New Year, Freaks. We fully believe that 2019 will be the best yet.
And the other biggest moment of the night, Shaq stepping off the stage to headbang with railriders. Yes, you read that right. And did we mention DJ Diesel also brought out his pal Kobe? Just a casual Monday night in Arizona when Relentless Beats gathers the coolest people from around the country and smooshes us into a tent together. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to 2019, Freaks! Stay posted for the full album, coming soon. Let’s own 2019 and grow together.
